How SPL Works

The Shakespeare Programming Language makes programs look like Shakespeare plays:

• Characters are variables (must be Shakespearean names)
• Acts & Scenes are labels for GOTO
• Enter/Exit controls which variables are active
• Nouns have values: positive (+1) or negative (-1)
• Adjectives multiply by 2

Key Phrases

• You are [nouns/adjectives] - Assign value
• Speak your mind - Output as character
• Listen to your heart - Read input
• Remember [thing] - Push to stack
• Recall - Pop from stack
• Am I better than you? - Comparison (>, <, =)
